Fluent answers are cheap; answers you can check are not. Every claim carries its sources, timestamps, confidence and known gaps, and nothing is written without your approval, whether the request comes from ChatGPT, Claude, or a phone in a field with no signal.

04 · Setup

Three routes in. Pick yours.

Claude works on a free account and is the quickest route. ChatGPT needs Developer mode. Once you have the app, it shows the same endpoint. Menu names vary by rollout and workspace policy.

Claude

Works on a free account

Recommended for individual farmers. Claude supports custom connectors on every plan. Free accounts can add one; Team and Enterprise owners must add ZarSage for their organization first.

  1. Open Claude web at claude.ai. On Free, Pro, or Max, open Customize → Connectors, then select Add → Add custom connector.
  2. Team or Enterprise owner: open Organization settings → Connectors, select Add → Custom → Web.
  3. Name it "ZarSage," enter the server URL: https://app-api.zarsage.ai/v1/mcp. Then select Add.
  4. Continue with Google when the sign-in window opens. If it does not appear, select Connect on the ZarSage row. Team or Enterprise members start here: open Customize → Connectors, find ZarSage, then select Connect.
  5. Enable ZarSage for a conversation from + → Connectors.

ZarSage is free during early access. Each account can register up to three fields, each from 0.01 to 300 hectares. No ZarSage subscription or payment card is required. Set up my farm in ZarSage. Start with my field and its exact boundary, then save any soil lab results, resource notes, and source links I provide. Ask only for information that is still missing, and show me each change before saving it.
Analyze a field
Analyze my field named [field name]. Use its crop and work history, soil evidence, recent and forecast weather, and available satellite observations. Show the evidence, sources, confidence, and data gaps, using charts, maps, tables, or images where they help.
Plan a crop cycle
Help me plan the next crop cycle for [field name]. Use ZarSage's farm evidence and current crop-suitability data, ask about any constraints that materially change the plan, and present a complete draft with tasks and reasoning before asking me to confirm it.
