# ZarSage AI

> ZarSage Connect gives an AI assistant secure access to a farmer's own farm record: fields and boundaries, crop cycles, soil lab results, weather history, satellite observations, and work history, served over the Model Context Protocol. It is the farm context an assistant needs before it can say anything useful about a specific field.

A capable model already knows agronomy. What it does not know is this farm: which fields exist, what was planted in each one, what the soil test said, what weather actually fell on those coordinates, and what the farmer already tried. ZarSage keeps that record and serves it to the assistant on request, with sources, timestamps, units, confidence, and known data gaps attached. Write actions require separate permission, and some planning workflows add a server-side confirmation step. ZarSage Connect is free during early access, with no subscription or payment card required.

## Connect an assistant
- [Setup guide](https://zarsage.ai/): step-by-step for ChatGPT and Claude, with the current menu paths for each host
- MCP server URL: `https://app-api.zarsage.ai/v1/mcp`, added in ChatGPT as a custom app (Developer mode) or in Claude as a custom connector. The conventional display name is "ZarSage Farm Intelligence". Authorization is Google sign-in; access is revocable at any time from the host's own connector settings.
- Each account can register up to three fields, each from 0.01 to 300 hectares, during early access.

## What an assistant can do with it
- Retrieve fields, boundaries, crop cycles, soil lab results, tasks, scouting observations, interventions, stored resources, and confirmed farm memory
- Combine forecast and historical weather, satellite imagery and NDVI, and soil evidence with the farmer's own records
- Present results as charts, maps, tables, images, or reports
- Draft crop plans, tasks, scouting work, interventions, and reports for the farmer to review before anything is written

## Products
- [ZarSage Connect](https://zarsage.ai/): the assistant connector, nothing to install, works inside ChatGPT and Claude
- [ZarSage Mobile](https://zarsage.ai/#mobile): the iPhone and Android app that carries the same farm record into the field. iPhone and iPad: on the App Store at https://apps.apple.com/app/zarsage-ai/id6778050687, free to download, iOS 15.0 or later, with optional paid subscriptions. Android: still closed testing, joined through the Play tester list at https://zarsage.ai/updates
- [ZarSage Desktop](https://zarsage.ai/desktop): the companion macOS and Windows app for mapping fields on satellite imagery and working offline, distributed via the Mac App Store

## What the mobile app does
- Today: weather, the spray window, safety windows, watchouts and today's work on one screen, with the forecast kept on the phone for offline reading
- Attention: when a recommendation needs a fact only the farmer knows, the agent stops and asks; questions and write approvals wait in Attention and are answered offline through the outbox
- Discover: a daily digest of stories for the farmer's crop and country, generated from permitted web sources, every story with its source links, saved on the phone
- Fields and cycles: boundaries drawn on the map or imported from GeoJSON or KML, crop cycles with crops ranked by FAO EcoCrop fit for the field, soil lab reports extracted from a PDF or photo with every value reviewed before it is saved
- Works with no signal: every write is saved on the phone and uploads in order when the network returns, with an honest sync state
- ZarSage Connect: the same MCP endpoint and connected assistants under You, so the record the phone writes is the one ChatGPT and Claude read
